Behind the Brand

Our Story

Hi! My name is Courtney and I’m a proud Italian American with a passion for pets and their health. I was born in San Clemente California and moved to a town in Washington (20 minutes north of Seattle) when I was 5 years old and have lived in Washington ever since.

Growing up we owned a Boston Terrier named Rio. Eventually we had 2 more dogs: a rat terrier named Rocco and Min Pin named Chichi. In 2017 I worked closely with a holistic Australian shepherd breeder and became close to the pack who felt like my own. In 2018 I started to work for a dog walking company and when covid hit i decided to branch off on my own and start a dog walking and pet sitting company. I’ve met so many people and dogs who I love and will never forget.

All of the exposure to pets and their health lead me to where I am today in the pet treat market making treats that my clients dogs, my dog, and customers love.

Starting in Fall 2025, I will be enrolled in the Clinical Pet Nutrition program at the Academy of Natural Health Sciences Training Center based in New Jersey to further my education on pet health.

Outside of dogs, I volunteered with Purrfect Pals, a cat adoption center in Washington State for 2 years. Since we never had cats growing up I wanted to expose myself to them and learn about them. After a few years at Purrfect Pals i volunteered at Puget Sound Goat Rescue in 2019 for a year. I worked with goats, sheep, llamas, turkeys, chickens, cows, you name it! I learned quickly how goats are very similar to dogs and it was one of my favorite things I’ve done. Sadly I had to discontinue my volunteer work at the rescue due to injuries from being a victim in a hit and run accident but still love all the animals and people I’ve met through volunteering.

In 2023 I adopted my senior corgi, Blossom, and my life has never been the same (in the best way possible). Dogs that I take care of that are extremely dog aggressive LOVE Blossom. Her energy and attitude are something cats, dogs, and humans are drawn to. Shes become a local celebrity at the dog park we frequent in Seattle so much so that when we arrive, people will call her over to them for pets and praise. I’m so happy I adopted this senior baby every day and I hope I have many years left with her.

When I’m not making your pets delicious treats, you can find me in the kitchen making a delicious meal for myself, or discovering new video games, tv shows, and movies to obsess over. A goal of mine in 2025 is to leave the country for the first time!
